Dr. Joe Quartuccio graduated from the University of Pittsburgh dental school in 1977. He received his postgraduate training as the chief general practitioner resident at West Penn Hospital, and then he became the director of that residency for several years.
He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and he maintains a staff and teaching position at Allegheny General Hospital as a clinical assistant professor of medicine through Drexel University. He often provides lectures and training to other dentists.
Dr. Quartuccio is a member of several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the International Academy of Comprehensive Aesthetics, the Pittsburgh Academy of Dentistry and the Pittsburgh Dental Network. He is the restorative dentistry advisor and vice president of the Pittsburgh Dental Network. He is a past president of the Pittsburgh Academy of Dentistry, one of the oldest established study clubs in the country, and he is a member of the executive council of that club.
A graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), the premier postgraduate dental training institution, Dr. Quartuccio has been designated as a Preferred LVI Dentist and is one of a limited number of LVI fellows.
He combines over 30 years of clinical experience and several-thousand hours of continuing dental education with a friendly, low-key communication style to find the best treatment plan for each patient.
